Russian Cosmonaut Nikolay Budarin Spacesuit Sokol KV-2
A complete Sokol (Falcon) full pressure KV-2 type spacesuit as manufactured by the Zvezda company, used by Nikolay Budarin. This pressure-type suit is white nylon canvas with blue trim. It has an attached pressurized hood with hinged plastic visor securing to blue anodized aluminum clavicle flange, trussed sleeves with adjustable articulating cables in the upper arm and webbed belt lashings, pressure gauge on left sleeve, double-V-front zip closure, lace-up crotch with triangular placket, anodized aluminum umbilical interfaces on body for electrical, air and coolant line with attached cables and hoses, pressure equalization valve on chest, support sling wrapping from chest to back by means of webbed belts and metal clips, adjustable metrically calibrated webbed straps attached to metal rings on side seams and along crotch, pleated knees, a utility pocket on each leg, attached soled feet; rubberized cloth lining with Zvezda logo on the chest. There is detachable gloves with metal wrist rings, featuring an insulated nylon canvas outer surface and inner pressure glove with black leather palm and smooth thumbs and fingers. The gloves are marked on the inner wrist with serial number, “ГП-7А-11Б-1040343,” and printed in blue with Budarin Cyrillic initials, “БНБ.” The gloves bear blue anodized aluminum wrist couplings designed to attach the suit, with the right hand coupling marked on the interior, “No. 1140462, ПРАВОЕ on right hand, and “No. 1140430 ЛЕВОЕ on left hand. In overall good condition. Soles of boots marked “50-4-43”.
