It was a reply to Dr. Clarence J. Owens, managing director of the Southern Commercial Congress, for the invitation to attend dinner in honour of the Allied Representatives to the United States.

Lioubomir Michailovitch was Serbian Minister and Ambassador of Serbia to United States from period of 1917-1918.
