“ Louisbourg 25th April 1807
Madame de Faucigny. I received the letter in which you thanked me for having called your younger son to Louisbourg. I am delighted if that arrangement has pleased you. I wish to take this opportunity to reiterate to you’re the assurance of my good will which I will always be happy to demonstrate in the future. I trust that God will keep you Madame de Faucigny in his holy keeping.
