CEREMONIAL FLAG SOYUZ TMA-08M ISS EXPEIDITION 35
Ceremonial flag of Soyuz TMA-08M ISS Expedition 35.
The size of the flag is 39” x 59 “, double faced.
In the center of the composition is depicted a flying Soyuz spacecraft, the hull of which is painted as the Russian tricolor. The solar panels of the transport ship are designed in the form of a stylized American Stars and Stripes flag. At the same time, seven stars are depicted on the flag, which symbolizes the number of the manned spacecraft in the flight schedule to the ISS (3 + 4; i.e. Soyuz-34S). The number of the manned spacecraft is marked at the top: Soyuz TMA-08M, with the last letter “M” stylized as the silhouette of the International Space Station. From the upper left corner of the triangular emblem emanate multicolored semicircles, representing the Sun (orange) and the Earth (blue). The other two semicircles symbolize the ISS orbit. The three bright stars on the right represent the three crew members. Below is the Roscosmos logo.
