TRANSLATION:
ATTESTATION
From June 1946 to February 1947
For the commander of the 1029 division of the howitzer artillery regiment, Major Boyko Grigory Andreevitsch.
Conclusion on the last certification from 1946. Corresponds to his position. It is advisable to stay as a division commander.
Major Boyko, commanding the second division, could not have ranked him among the best divisions of the regiment.
The reasons for this were, firstly, Major Boyko's insufficient personal training and, secondly, his unfair performance of his official duties. Along with good general development, such a basic discipline for the artellist as artillery -shooting training with Major Boyko is in an unsatisfactory state.
He does not manage enough combat training of the personnel of the division.
For poor shooting training of the personnel of the division, Major Boyko, by order of the division commander, was warned of incomplete service compliance for the position, he did not draw any conclusions from this.
In the division, there were cases of unsatisfactory maintenance of weapons and the motorized part of artillery.
Major Boyko is lazy and slow in nature. Control over combat training is carried out, but not systematically.
He does not prepare his own headquarters, and does not supervise its work.
Has willpower. Demanding to subordinates. Outwardly, it is always fit and neat. Shoots from personal weapons satisfactorily.
Sometimes he shows inconsistency and admits tactlessness in addressing senior commanders.
He knows well the personnel of the division, but on a daily basis they are not engaged in the education of subordinates.
He can organize classes. Tactical training is satisfactory. Physically developed.
The Marxist-Leninist training is satisfactory. Ideologically sustained. He does not work systematically to improve his knowledge.
Major Boyko, who was repeatedly warned about the need to dramatically improve his work, could not overcome his laziness and correct most of his shortcomings.
Output
Major Boyko may be left in the position of division commander, but to warn Major Boyko about the need to dramatically improve his work to improve personal atrilleristic and rifle training as soon as possible.
